Aghadoe Heights are delighted to have completed Fáilte Ireland’s Infection Prevention Control for Tourism Businesses course showing our commitment to providing our team and customers with a safe space.

Q: Check in and Check out times:

Our check in time of 3pm/check out time of 12 however, we will try our best to accommodate early check in requests to reduce wait times and accommodate travel schedules. 

Valet Parking & Porterage Services.

Yes valet parking and porterage services will be offered. Brendan and his team will be delighted to assist.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Face masks are no longer mandatory in Ireland from the 28th February 2022, however, we have advised all our staff that they may continue to wear a mask if that is their preference. We would therefore advise the same to all our Guests and shall leave you decide whether you choose to wear a mask. We have removed all Covid-19 guidance signage but we will continue to provide hand sanitisers in all key locations.

Are there any changes to my room?

We will continue with our increased level of cleaning and disinfection of all areas within the guestroom with special attention to high touch point.

Extra pillows and blankets are stored in guest room wardrobes.

We will not be operating a mini bar service however all items will be available through room service including soft drinks, wine and spirits, snacks and treats

Tea and coffee making facilities will available in the room

Bottled water will continue to be provided in the room for your compliments

Rooms will serviced by our accommodation team on a daily basis. Should you not wish to avail of this service please place your Do Not Disturb sign on your bedroom door, we will provide clean, towels, sheets, toiletries on request. 

Breakfast in the Lake Room

We will operate a Breakfast Buffet. Orders will be taken for Tea/ Coffee, Toast, Hot breakfast will be freshly cooked and plated from the kitchen. Tables in restaurants and bars will be arranged to ensure appropriate distancing and menus will be laminated to facilitate disinfection.

Our Heights Lounge is open daily from 12 noon - 21.30pm and our Lake Room Restaurant is open daily from 6pm -21.30pm, guests can enjoy dining from our Table d’Hote dinner menu offering to include seasonal specials and signature dishes will be serve. We request that each guests pre-book their dining requirements in advance of their arrival.

Spa

The spa will be open, our therapists have completed enhanced training to ensure our services are delivered with safety and hygiene as a primary focus. We request that your prearrange your spa time well in advance of your arrival. Our relaxation area and Thermal Suite area are open, pre booking essential.

Pool/Gym

Our pool and gym are open daily from 7am until 9pm.

10 family rooms. Cots are available on request.

TIPS AND GRATUITIES NOTICE

Aghadoe Heights Hotel & Spa is required by law under the Payment of Wages Act 1991 as amended to distribute to our Team Members any tips or gratuities received by us by electronic means, and we are committed to our obligations under this referenced legislation and the associated SI 545 of 2022 Payment of Wages Act 1991 (Display of Notices) Regulations 2022.

Digital Tips:

Tips that are collected by electronic means are distributed:

  • Based on seniority and experience;
  • Based on the number of hours/shifts worked; and
  • The Team Members role in the service delivery.

Cash Tips:

All cash tips go directly to the staff.

The business shares the amount available for Team Members as outlined below:

  • Based on seniority and experience;
  • Based on the number of hours/shifts worked; and
  • The Team Members role in the service delivery.

The Company deducts the appropriate tax to all Tips received, however no other deductions are made to Tips.

Do you have EV Car Charging Facilities?

Yes, Hotel Name have installed X EV charging points for our guests. Conveniently located in the hotel carpark for Hotel Resident’s use.
